Inforce policy texts is the text message program your insurance agent uses to reach you about a policy you bought from them. The texts name your agent and their agency and say “Sent via Inforce”. You get:

• one text confirming you're signed up, right after you agree;
• a coverage confirmation when your agent submits your policy; and
• a payment reminder if the insurance carrier reports a problem with a payment, so your coverage can stay active.

These texts are about your own policy. They aren't marketing, and they don't contain links.

You sign up by saying yes to your agent on a phone call. Before you answer, the agent reads you what the texts are for, how often they come, that message and data rates may apply, how to get help, how to stop, and where to find these terms and the privacy policy. Nobody is signed up any other way. The exact words the agent reads are on the text message consent page.

Message frequency varies. You get the sign-up confirmation once, a coverage confirmation when a policy is submitted, and a payment reminder only when there is a problem with a payment.

Message and data rates may apply. Inforce doesn't charge you for these texts; what you pay depends on your mobile plan.

Reply STOP to any text to stop the texts. You get one text confirming that you're unsubscribed and no more texts from that number, from any agent who uses it. Reply START to that number to sign up again.

Texts are held outside 8 AM to 9 PM in your time zone and sent when the window opens. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

The privacy policy says what information Inforce holds about you and how it is used. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

The Inforce app is invite-only: an agency's owner invites its people, and each person signs in with a code sent to their work email. If you use the app, you agree to these rules:

• Text a client only after they say yes on a call to the consent script the app shows you, and record that yes in the app. Inforce keeps the script, who recorded the yes, and when.
• Use the texts only for policy servicing: coverage confirmations and payment reminders. No marketing, and no links.
• Every text template keeps the sentences “Sent via Inforce.” and “Reply STOP to opt out.” The app won't save a template without them.
• A client who replies STOP isn't texted again from that number. The app blocks those texts; call the client instead.
• Enter only information about your own clients and the policies you sold them.
